Andrew Rider

Bio

Andrew Rider is a qualified field guide currently based at Lush Private Game Lodge in Black Rhino Game Reserve. His passion for wildlife began at a young age and has grown into a career centred around guiding, conservation, and sharing Africa's natural world with others.

Alongside guiding, Andrew has a keen interest in wildlife photography and filmmaking. Through his photography and video work, he documents South Africa's wildlife and hopes to pursue wildlife filmmaking in the future.

As part of the Simakade Expert Panel, Andrew reviews and verifies wildlife content, helping ensure the information on the platform is accurate and reflects current knowledge and real experiences in the field.
